Hiro is an award-winning still life photographer who shoots campaigns for international brands. He spends most of his time in the studio in Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore, and delivers stunning photographic visuals on a daily basis.

Originally from Akita, Japan, Hiro is a graduate of the City College of New York, where he encountered the art of photography. Soon after graduation from the college, Hiro became an assistant for a New York-based still life photographer, Sylvere Azoulai. He learned an exceptional lighting skill to draw elegant lines in a photographic image by strobe lights.

In 2010, Hiro moved to Tokyo and became an assistant for Takahito Sato, a leading advertisement photographer in Japan. In the following year, Hiro created his own studio in Tokyo. Working together with Elite Photography in Hong Kong, he expanded his career to Asia in 2012. Since 2014, Hiro is represented by Shooting Gallery Asia in several countries in Asian region. Hiro has also teamed up with KnockAd in Shanghai in 2014.

同大在学中に写真に出会い、卒業後はNYにてスティルライフフォトグラファー・シルバー アズレイ氏(2A, 2A by Sylvere)に師事し、広告写真撮影を学ぶ。また同氏が経営するレタッチスタジオSous Les Etoilesにて、広告・エディトリアルで活躍するトップレタッチャーからレタッチ技術を学ぶ。

2010年からは東京に移り、広告写真家・佐藤孝仁氏に師事。翌年、都内に自身のスタジオを設立。2012年からは香港のElite Photographyと提携しアジアでの活動を開始。2013年には現在の位置(渋谷区神宮前)にスタジオを拡張移転した。

2014年からはシンガポールを拠点にアジア各国にスタジオを持つShooting Gallery Asiaに所属し、アジア地域でのマネージメントを委託。また、上海の広告プロダクションKnockAdとの提携も開始した。玄光社・コマーシャルフォト「NEW GENERATION PHOTOGRAPHERS 2016」に選出。
